Nils started his career at Hamburger Hochbahn AG, where he took on leadership responsibility for over 30 employees at an early stage. He subsequently deepened his technological expertise—founded on his studies in Business Informatics—as an IT Architect at IBM. This was followed by a move into entrepreneurship with the founding of the DeFi fintech Paycer, before he gained profound experience in the global precious metals trade in Singapore as COO of the gold token CACHE and at Silver Bullion. Most recently, he was responsible for complex AI and eCommerce projects at the SUND Group. He now bundles this broad expertise at Spargold to make physical precious metal investments easily and safely accessible to everyone.
After his MBA with a legal focus, Helge gained extensive experience in tax consulting and human resources management at corporations such as ABB and ThyssenKrupp, most recently as Head of HR at CeWe Color. Since his state examination in public law, he has also dedicated himself to regional innovation strategies and economic development. As an entrepreneur, he founded HPI Consulting and is actively involved in real estate management and investment himself. His other ventures include webrigade and the DeFi project Paycer. He now strategically brings this diverse expertise from the corporate world, legal affairs, the real estate industry, and fintech to Spargold.
As Co-Founder and CTO, Julien is the technical heart of Spargold. He discovered his passion for software development at the age of ten and underpinned it with a computer science degree, which he completed as valedictorian. In addition to publishing scientific papers in the field of Artificial Intelligence, he gathered years of experience as a Lead Developer—among other things, he developed specialized software for jewelry manufacturing. This combination of academic excellence and industry-specific practice flows directly into the Spargold app: With his high standards for perfection, he guarantees our customers the highest technological security and intuitive usability.

All of our clients' precious metals are stored exclusively in Singapore at the high-security vault "The Reserve" – one of the most modern, largest, and most secure precious metal facilities in the world. Singapore is considered one of the most stable countries both economically and politically, often referred to as the 'Switzerland of Asia.' Thanks to its geographic distance and legal independence, Singapore provides optimal protection for our clients' holdings against political changes in Germany or the EU. Every gram is physically allocated, fully insured, and individually assigned. We regularly visit the facility in person to review procedures and safety standards, ensuring that your property remains protected, verifiable, and free from third-party claims at all times.
